Applications are open for the role of BSG CSSC Clinical Guidelines Lead


The BSG has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to increase their involvement in the BSG and be part of the Clinical Services and Standards Committee.

Applications are now open for the prestigious role of BSG Clinical Guidelines Lead from June 2024 until June 2027, succeeding current Guidelines Lead Dr Perminder Phull. The Deputy role is for 1 year from June 2024 – June 2025, with the post holder going on to become the Lead for a 2 year term from June 2025 – June 2027. The BSG Clinical Guidelines Lead is a key member of the Clinical Services and Standards Committee and a member of the BSG Council as well as a welcome and pivotal member of the Gut Editorial Board. The Gut Associate Editor role is particularly interesting and involves close liaison with the Gut Editorial team in coordinating the review process of high-quality Guidelines submitted to be considered for publication in Gut.
